Ichiro's Malt Ken's Choice Diamond American Whisky Double Anniversary is a double-oak, single barrel American whisky from Ichiro Akuto's Venture Whisky, matured through Chichibu. It was released for Ken's diamond anniversary and the opening of a new bar.
The whisky was distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2012, with 238 bottles produced. It comes from the private cask Ken's Choice programme and is in a 70cl bottle.
The character leans towards bourbon, with vanilla, caramel and corn sweetness, and a strong American oak signature from the double-oak treatment.
