Indri DRU Cask Strength Single Malt Indian Whisky (70cl, 57.2%)

This is Indri DRU, a cask strength Indian single malt from the Indri distillery, made by Piccadily Distilleries in Haryana. The name comes from the Sanskrit word for wood. It is bottled directly from the cask at a natural 57.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered and naturally coloured. The whisky matured in oak in the climate of Northern India, where large temperature swings speed up maturation. It is described as layered with dried fruit, spice, oak, vanilla and dark chocolate.
