A 5 year old Indian single malt from Indri, distilled in 2017 and drawn from a single bourbon cask in 2023. It was bottled at 58.5% ABV, with 240 bottles produced exclusively for the German market.
Indri is made in Haryana, in northern India, from six-row Indian barley. Single casks like this one follow the distillery's first standard bottling, The Three Wood.
The nose brings oranges, iodine, Worcestershire sauce, vanilla, malt and ginger ale, with oak spice. The palate is strong and sharp at first, then sweet, fruity and spicy, with iodine pastilles, Manuka honey and mint. The finish carries salt, iodine, cherry, caramel and oak.
