Infrequent Flyers Bowmore 25 Years Old is an Islay single malt from the Infrequent Flyers series by the independent bottler Alistair Walker Whisky Company. It is a single cask bottling, distilled in 1998 and bottled in June 2024 after 25 years in a refill bourbon cask, limited to 280 bottles.
It is bottled at 45.8% ABV, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines soft peat smoke, fresh citrus and ripe tropical fruit, with mango, banana and guava, a light sea breeze and polished oak. On the palate are mandarin, lemon and mango, with roasted almonds, vanilla, cinnamon, black pepper and a little salt. The finish is long, with soft peat smoke, warm spice, citrus and stone fruit.
