Infrequent Flyers Mannochmore 17 year old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 50.4% in a 70cl bottle. It is golden amber in colour. The whisky was finished for about four years and three months in a refill ruby port hogshead.
On the nose, strawberries and cream sit alongside Biscoff biscuits. The palate is very fruity, with orange bitters, marmalade, apricot and peach cobbler, along with crème brûlée. A sweet, peppery spice appears briefly, then fades. The port cask is still an influence, though a gentle one.
