J.J. Corry The Gael (70cl, 46%)

A blended Irish whiskey from J.J. Corry, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The Gael is built on a vatting of Irish single malts distilled in 2002 and 2006 and matured in ex-Bourbon barrels. A 1991 single malt from an ex-Sherry butt adds complexity and depth, and Irish single grain whiskey brings balance. J.J. Corry revives the art of Irish whiskey bonding. The team selects casks of unaged whiskey from distilleries across Ireland and matures them in a bonded rackhouse in County Clare, under the influence of the county's maritime climate.
