J.P. Wiser's Triple Barrel 10 Year Old is a blended Canadian whisky from Hiram Walker & Sons in Ontario, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It combines corn and rye distillates matured for ten years in three types of cask: new white oak, ex-American bourbon and previously used Canadian whisky casks.
Caramel, honeycomb, vanilla and dried fruit meet rye spice on the nose, with hints of green apple and pear. Toasted rye spice, toffee, vanilla and caramel lead the palate, and the finish returns to apple, pear, dried fruit and allspice.
