J. Rieger & Co. Kansas City Whiskey is a blend of straight bourbon, light corn whiskey and rye whiskey, with a little sherry added. It is bottled at 46% ABV and follows the pre-Prohibition whiskey style of Kansas City.
The nose offers caramelised sugar, dried fruit, vanilla and a hint of oak. On the palate it is smooth and rich, with toffee, baking spices and dark cherry. The finish is long and warm, with lingering spice and a touch of sherry sweetness.
