The fourth batch of Jack Daniel's 10 Year Old, a Tennessee whiskey bottled at 48.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The annual limited release began in 2021 and is an older, higher-proof take on standard Jack Daniel's Old No. 7.
This batch balances sweet and dry oak, with a creamy caramel sweetness and a buttery mouthfeel. The nose offers baking spices, banana flambe, caramel, maple sugar candy, barrel char and nougat. On the palate come creamy caramel, light rye spice, dry charred oak, brown butter and white peppercorn. The finish carries rye spice, caramel, charred oak and leather, ending in a lingering dry spice.
