Jack Daniel's – 100 Proof Bottled-in-Bond (50%)

This is a Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, made to the Bottled-in-Bond rules. It was aged for a minimum of four years in a federally supervised warehouse and is bottled at 100 proof, which is 50% ABV. It was distilled and bottled in Lynchburg, Tennessee. The character leans on deep oak, caramel and a smoothness from charcoal mellowing. The colour is a deep amber with golden highlights. On the nose there is toasted oak, vanilla bean and caramel corn. The palate is rich, with bold spice, dark fruit and creamy toffee, and the long, warm finish carries charcoal and maple sweetness.
