Jack Daniel's 14 Year Old Batch 02 is a limited-edition Tennessee whiskey from the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, bottled at 58.8% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is the brand's first 14 year age-stated whiskey in more than 100 years. The whiskey is mellowed through charcoal by the Lincoln County Process and aged for 14 years in new charred American oak barrels. For nearly half of that time the barrels sit on the upper floors of the rickhouses, then move to the first floor. The distillery does not usually move barrels, and the change curbs evaporation loss and tempers the oak. It is described as showing deep caramel, toasted oak, baking spice and mature fruit.
