Table syrup barrel finish
This is Selection #16 in the Jack Daniel's Distillery Series, a Tennessee rye whiskey finished in used Jack Daniel's barrels that previously held a southern-style table syrup. It is a distillery exclusive, bottled at 55.7% ABV in a 37.5cl bottle. The Distillery Series is where the distillery experiments, and each release is a one-off limited edition. This one focuses on bold spice with an underlying sweetness. The nose is creamy milk chocolate, tobacco, rye grain and breakfast syrup. The palate is rye and ancho pepper spice with oak, maple cake and tobacco leaf. The finish stays spicy and dry, with dry oak, leather and a faint syrup note.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
