Jack Daniel's McLaren HALO MK1 is a Tennessee whiskey made in collaboration between the Jack Daniel Distillery and the McLaren Formula 1 Team. It was bottled on 20 May 2026 at 58.7% in a one-litre bottle, and its presentation takes its shape from the halo structure of an F1 car.
The mash bill is 80% corn, 8% rye and 12% malted barley. After distilling in Lynchburg, the spirit is filtered through about three metres of sugar maple charcoal and matured in new American white oak casks, whose staves were left outdoors for a long time.
Sweet maple, fruit and toasted oak lead the nose. Caramel and chocolate open the palate, followed by pipe tobacco and baking spices, and the long finish joins warm cask spice with brown sugar sweetness.
