A Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, released in 2026 as a collaboration with the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team. The Halo Mk1 is a limited edition in a one litre bottle at 58.7% ABV, or 117.4 proof.
Every drop is charcoal mellowed. The whiskey then matures in barrels made from staves aged in the open air for an extended period, which softens the tannins and brings a bolder colour and a smoother caramel and chocolate palate.
The nose is sweet maple, fruit and toasted oak. The palate moves from sweet caramel and chocolate to pipe tobacco and baking spice, and the finish lingers with barrel spice and brown sugar candy.
Tasting Notes
