This is a single barrel Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, released in 2021 from Coy Hill, the highest point on the distillery's Lynchburg campus. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered at natural barrel proof, 139.1 proof (69.6% ABV), in a 75cl bottle. The barrel aged on the upper floors of the Coy Hill barrel house, where wide seasonal swings in temperature concentrate the spirit. The nose is caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and sweet corn, with dried fruit and brown sugar beneath. The palate is powerful and rich, with charred oak and warming spice. The finish is long and warm, with oak, caramel, dried fruit and spice.
