Jack Daniel's – Single Barrel Coy Hill 2021 (75cl, 69.5%)

This is a Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Tennessee whiskey from the Coy Hill barrel house, released in 2021. Coy Hill is the highest point of the distillery's Lynchburg campus, and the barrel was aged on its upper floors. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered at natural barrel proof, 69.5% ABV (139.0 proof), in a 75cl bottle. The nose is of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and sweet corn, with dried fruit and brown sugar beneath. The palate is powerful and rich, with caramel, brown sugar, charred oak, vanilla and warming spice. The finish is long, warm and assertive, with oak, caramel, dried fruit and spice lingering.
