Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Coy Hill 2021 (75cl, 74.2%)

This is a single barrel Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, from the 2021 Coy Hill selection. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered at 74.15% ABV (148.3 proof) in a 750ml bottle. Coy Hill is the warehouse at the highest elevation on the Lynchburg campus. Like all Jack Daniel's, the spirit is filtered through sugar maple charcoal before it goes into the barrel, the Lincoln County Process. The nose is concentrated caramelised sugar, dark dried fruit and charred oak, with vanilla, corn sweetness, brown sugar and leather. The palate brings caramel, dark cherry, deep charred oak, brown sugar and cinnamon. The finish is exceptionally long, with caramel, charred oak, dried fruit and warming spice.
