A single barrel Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, the 2025 release of the Heritage Barrel expression, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 75cl bottle. Heritage Barrels are toasted at high temperature and then given a light char, the reverse of the usual approach. The mash bill is 80% corn, 12% rye and 8% malted barley, and the whiskey is made by the Lincoln County process.
The result is a softer, honey-led oak character with candied fruit. The nose offers soft oak, warm honey and candied fruit. The palate adds toasted wood sweetness and vanilla, and the finish is brown sugar with a clean, lingering warmth.
