Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Heritage Barrel

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Heritage Barrel is a Tennessee whiskey that celebrates the early craftsmanship of the Jack Daniel Distillery. It is matured in barrels that were given a heavy toast at a low temperature, which produces a light but rich char. The whiskey went into the barrel at a lower entry proof of 100, allowing the grain bill to come through. The barrels aged on the top floor of barrelhouse 1-09 on Coy Hill, one of the highest barrelhouses. It is described as having light baking spices, vanilla and toasted oak, with a long, lingering finish.
