This is a single barrel Tennessee straight rye from Jack Daniel's, part of the 2025 Tanyard Hill Hazmat release, in a 75cl bottle. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered at cask strength, 148.8 proof or 74.4% ABV. The whiskey is made at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, with charcoal mellowing through sugar maple under the Lincoln County Process. The nose is intense, with rye spice, black pepper and grain alongside caramel, charred oak and vanilla. The palate brings cinnamon, pepper, grain and charred oak. The finish is very long, with rye spice, charred oak and caramel.
