Jack Daniel's – 'Small Batch' Special Release Coy Hill High Proof Whiskey 2022 (37.5cl, 76.6%)

This is a 2022 Special Release from Jack Daniel's, a Tennessee whiskey in a 375ml bottle. It is a small batch blend of several barrels from the Coy Hill barrel house, the highest point on the Lynchburg campus, bottled at 76.6% ABV (153.2 proof). Coy Hill barrels go through the most extreme temperature cycling on the campus. The whiskey is made by the Lincoln County Process, with charcoal mellowing. The nose is concentrated caramelised sugar, dark dried fruit, charred oak, vanilla and corn sweetness. The palate offers caramel, dark cherry, oak char, brown sugar and warming cinnamon. The finish is very long, with charred oak, caramel, dried fruit and spice.
