Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea is a blend of straight bourbon whiskeys. Older bourbon barrels are taken on a voyage around the world, stopping on five continents and crossing the equator four times. It is bottled at 59.8% in a 750ml bottle.
The nose is fresh ginger with a slight saline note. The palate mixes sweet and savoury: salted caramel, milk chocolate, and tropical fruit such as pineapple and guava. The finish is delicate and warm, with vanilla, cream and toast returning.
