This is Jefferson's Ocean Voyage 25, a bourbon made with a wheated mash bill.
The nose carries caramel and butterscotch with a hint of dried cherry, wild grains and sea spray. On the palate come sea-salt caramel, vanilla and brown sugar, with a touch of autumn fruits, dried apricot, salted caramel corn and a little brine.
The finish is of medium length, woody and smooth, with caramel and mint and a lingering note of menthol.
