Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon is distilled in Clermont, Kentucky, and comes in a 75cl bottle. It is aged for four years in new charred oak barrels, longer than the legal minimum for straight bourbon.
The character is medium-bodied. It is drunk neat, on the rocks, in a Highball with soda or ginger ale, or in classic bourbon cocktails.
The nose is slightly spicy, with oaky vanilla. The palate is mellow, with caramel, vanilla, grain and oak, and the finish is lightly sweet with toasted oak.
