Old No. 15 is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Jim Beam, bottled at 37% ABV in a small 15cl bottle.
It is matured in charred oak barrels and has a deep amber colour. The palate is fairly full-bodied with a creamy texture.
The nose brings wet earth, vanilla, under-ripe banana and toffee. On the palate come plenty of cinnamon and roasted nuts, with medium heat, and the finish is long, spicy and peppery.
