Jim Beam Original is a straight bourbon whiskey from Kentucky, bottled under the Jim Beam name. The nose is sweet, with vanilla, cut hay, fresh cornfields and a cereal sweetness. The palate has good body, with toasty oak, vanilla and crème anglaise, a little spice and pepper, and a note of acetone. The finish brings toasty oak and resin, with sweetness.
