Jim Beam White is a four-year-old bourbon bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled at lower temperatures to no more than 62.5%, and the mashbill has quite a high proportion of rye.
The nose is quite sweet, with gentle vanilla, cut hay, fresh corn and a little cereal sweetness. The palate has good body, with toasty oak, vanilla and crème anglaise, some spice and pepper, and a note of acetone. The finish is toasty oak and resin with some sweetness.
