John Crabbie Single Malt is a Scotch single malt drawn from the Bonnington Distillery in Leith and aged in 100% virgin American oak casks. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The John Crabbie name goes back to 1801, when John Crabbie & Co. began trading as purveyors of wine and spirits.
The nose is sweet and creamy, with toffee and oak. The palate is rich, with powerful tannins, oak and plenty of spice. The finish is long and lingering, with hints of red fruit and woody notes.
