Johnnie Walker Aged 18 Years, also called The Platinum Blend, is a blended Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is chosen from up to 18 different Walker whiskies from across Scotland, including Cardhu, Glen Elgin, Auchroisk and Blair Athol. Most are malt whiskies matured for at least 18 years.
The nose brings honeyed cereals, fruit and nut chocolate, distant bonfire smoke, clementine and spring blossom. The palate has peanut brittle, candied peel and plump sultanas, with floral malt in the middle and dry, earthy smoke behind. The finish returns to honey with a soft hint of cinnamon.
