Johnnie Walker Black Label is a 12 year old blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It dates from 1909 and is a blend of around 40 whiskies, with a mellow smoky note.
The nose offers winter spice and treacle, with hints of white pepper and a little citrus. On the palate it is rich and full, with wood smoke, dry spice, barley and cereal, creamy toffee and a distinct herbal note. The finish is long and fairly fruity, with sultanas and mixed peel.
