Johnnie Walker Black Ruby (70cl, 40%)

Johnnie Walker Black Ruby is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It builds on the brand's smoky malts. Casks with a deeper fruit influence are selected for the blend, which gives a darker, berry-forward profile. The Ruby name comes from this emphasis on dark red fruit, balanced against a measure of smoke. The nose combines dark berries, soft smoke, caramel and warm spice, with cherry compote and toasted vanilla. The palate is smooth and gently smoky, with black fruit, honeyed malt, roasted nuts and oak spice. The finish is long, with berry sweetness, soft peat and vanilla spice.
