Johnnie Walker Black Ruby is a blended Scotch whisky created by master blender Dr Emma Walker, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made with whiskies aged in ex-Bourbon, first-fill red wine, Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks.
The character is fruit-led. The nose brings sweet fruit, rich caramel and a hint of spice, while the palate offers raspberry jam, blackberry pie, honeyed sweetness, figs, plums and maraschino cherries, with a little spice and delicate smoke. The finish is smooth and sweet, ending on a subtle smoky note.
