This is a limited edition of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV. The edition is built around the idea of umami, the savoury quality that sets it apart from the standard Blue Label. In the glass it is described as smoky, with peat, dark chocolate and dried fruit, alongside savoury hints of soy sauce, dried seaweed and a light saltiness. The palate is velvety and layered, leading to a long, warming finish.
