Johnnie Walker Blue Label Lunar New Year 'Year Of The Goat' Edition is a blended Scotch whisky released to mark the Lunar New Year. It comes in a blue porcelain-style decanter decorated with custom artwork of the zodiac goat.
The blend is the usual Blue Label recipe, made from hand-selected malt and grain whiskies from across Scotland, including ghost distilleries.
The nose is mellow and rounded, with honeycomb, dried dark fruits, roasted hazelnuts and orange zest. On the palate come caramel, toffee, sherried figs and dark chocolate, with soft baking spices and oak. The finish is long, with oak, light spice and a thread of smoke.
