The Johnnie Walker name goes back to 1820, when the Walker family began blending in Kilmarnock. The nose is fresh citrus peel, warm pepper and a wisp of smoke. The palate is bright and spicy, with sweet malt and vanilla alongside crisp fruit. The finish is clean and lightly smoky, with a warm peppery tingle.
