Johnnie Walker Red Label is a blended Scotch whisky in a 37.5cl bottle. It took its name in 1909, when 'Special Old Highland Whisky' was renamed. The blend combines lighter whiskies from Scotland's East Coast with peatier whiskies from the West. It is typically described as having hints of cinnamon and pepper, fruity sweetness and a mellow base of vanilla, followed by a long, smoky finish.
