Johnny Drum Private Stock Kentucky Bourbon (75cl, 50.5%)

Johnny Drum Private Stock is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 50.5% (101 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It is sourced by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers. The name honours the boys under 18 who joined up as drummers or messengers during the American Civil War. The bourbon once carried a 15 year age statement, which has since been dropped. The nose is sour apple, vanilla and oak. On the palate, fruit, vanilla and spice are mixed together into a balanced, complex whole.
