This is a 12 year old Jura single malt from the Island region, bottled by Douglas Laing in its Old Particular range at 48.4% ABV. It was distilled in February 2008 and bottled in March 2020.
The whisky came from a single refill hogshead, DL13982, which produced 348 bottles, each in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers rum, sugar and butter, then hard candy. On the palate come macerated sweet autumn fruits, spices, mint and barley, and the finish begins with a gentle cough drop note before sugar, spice and malt.
