K. Martini & Sohn Vernatsch Alto Adige DOC

A light red wine from K. Martini & Sohn, made from Vernatsch, also known as Schiava, grown in the alpine valleys of Alto Adige. It shows a bright, slightly translucent ruby colour, with delicate aromas of red fruits such as strawberry and cherry, floral hints and a light almond note. The palate is light and soft, with fine, well-integrated tannins, fresh balanced acidity and a clean, pleasantly fruity finish. It suits South Tyrolean dishes such as speck and dumplings, as well as light starters, white meats and mild cheeses.
