Kangakoi 7 Year Old is a single grain Japanese whisky, produced at Toyonaga's distillery, which was founded in 1894. It is bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle.
The whisky spends seven years maturing in sherry barrels. The name comes from the Japanese 'kan', meaning perfect, complete or whole, and refers to a samurai in ritual armour.
Oak and sherry lead at the start, followed by nuttiness and gentle oak from the sherry casks. The finish is lasting and smooth.
