Kanosuke – Double Distillery Japanese Whisky (70cl, 53%)

Kanosuke Double Distillery is a Japanese whisky bottled at 53% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It brings together Hioki pot still whisky and Kanosuke single malt. Kanosuke has stood at Fukiagehama since 2017 and works with three individually shaped pot stills. The blend matured in four types of cask: new American oak, sherry, bourbon barrels and mellowed Kozuru shochu casks. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring. It is described as fresh with mint, melon and lemongrass, then rich on the palate with cinnamon, black tea, orange and clove, finishing with oak and gently bitter fruit.
