Karuizawa – Five Decades: Venus

Venus is part of the Karuizawa Five Decades collection, a blend of whiskies from Karuizawa, the closed Japanese distillery. The contents were drawn from an archive assembled by a private collector, covering whiskies distilled across five decades. For the project, 210 bottles were opened and assessed before the contents were blended into seven new expressions. Each is named after one of the seven classical celestial bodies, and Venus takes its name from the planet associated with beauty and harmony. Venus was produced in just 30 bottles.
