A Kentucky bourbon aged for 10 years in new charred oak barrels. It pays tribute to barrels confiscated by the government just ahead of Prohibition.
Kentucky Owl was founded in 1879 by C.M. Dedman on the banks of the Kentucky River, and the brand was relaunched in 2014 with Batch #1. The blending is overseen by Master Blender John Rhea.
The flavour is sweet, with spice, caramel, toffee and vanilla, and a hint of smoky oak in the finish.
