Kentucky Peerless Toasted Bourbon Whiskey (75cl)

Kentucky Peerless Toasted Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Louisville, made from a strictly sweet mash and sold in a 750ml bottle. The whiskey spends five years in a charred oak barrel at char level 3, then goes into a second barrel with a medium toast for further maturation. It is bottled at barrel proof with no water added, and it is never chill-filtered. The first barrel brings caramel, brown sugar and toffee, and the toasted barrel adds honey, vanilla, toasted spices and chocolate. Batch 2 showed toasted vanilla bean, creme brulee and buttered toast on the nose, with cola, burnt caramel, candied orange and salted caramel on the palate.
