Kilbeggan Blended Irish Whiskey

Kilbeggan is a blended Irish whiskey that is double distilled, which gives it a sturdier profile than blends made from triple distilled spirit. The nose is sweet Oloroso and sweet malt, with the malt sitting above the clean grain. On the palate come soft almond nougat, peach, caramel and vanilla, ending quickly on light malt sugar. The finish stays dry, with genuine woody oak tones. It works in a glass with cola, ginger ale or soda, and can equally be taken as a shot.
