Kilbeggan – Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (75cl)

Kilbeggan Single Pot Still is an Irish whiskey in a 750ml bottle, the second limited release to be distilled and matured entirely at Kilbeggan. It is the oldest expression released since distillation resumed there in 2010. The mash is malted barley, raw barley and 2.5% oats, inspired by recipes from the distillery's late-1800s heyday. It is double distilled, once through the oldest working whiskey pot still in the world. The nose is fresh and crisp, with apple, pear, melon, jasmine, hazelnut and a honeycomb sweetness. The palate brings gentle spice, summer fruits, citrus and fresh mint, with a creamy mouthfeel. The finish is soft and creamy, with lingering spice and some dryness.
