Kilchoman 100% Islay 15th Edition is the final release in the distillery's limited 100% Islay series, bottled in 2025 at 50%. It is a vatting of whisky from 54 ex-bourbon barrels, matured for at least nine years.
The spirit was made from Concerto and Publican barley from the 2014 and 2015 harvests and is peated to 20 ppm. Worldwide, 13,000 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose combines vanilla and tropical fruit with fresh hay, toasted oak, grassy notes and salted butter. On the palate, milk chocolate and salted caramel meet fresh peat smoke, with candied citrus, lemon, ripe pear and a hint of white pepper. The finish carries maritime peat smoke, fresh fruit and honeyed sweetness.
