Kilchoman – 100% Islay Sherry Cask 11 Year Old (70cl)

Kilchoman 100% Islay Sherry Cask 11 Year Old is a single malt made entirely on Islay, from barley grown and malted at the distillery through to distillation and maturation. It comes in a 70cl bottle and is non-chill-filtered, with natural colour. The spirit spent over a decade in sherry casks only, which sit alongside the distillery's coastal peat character. The flavour brings together dried fruits, dark chocolate, toasted nuts and warming spice, with peat smoke, citrus and a light maritime edge. Sweetness and smoke work together, and the whisky is full and rounded rather than heavy.
