Kilchoman – 100% Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 6 Years (50%)

This is a 6-year-old single malt from Kilchoman on Islay, bottled at 50% ABV. It belongs to the 100% Islay series, which uses barley grown and processed locally, in keeping with the distillery's farm approach. The whisky was distilled in 2010 and matured until 2016 in fresh and refill Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. It is described as combining Islay peat, smoke, vanilla, cereal, light fruit and maritime notes with the character of the bourbon wood.
