This is a 13 year old Islay single malt from Kilchoman, in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV.
Kilchoman was founded in 2005 and was the first distillery built on Islay in more than a century. It was modelled on a nineteenth-century farm distillery, and its first single malt appeared in September 2009. The distillery shapes a peated malt by hand, with a lightly salty character.
